About Us

Our Facility

The Knoxville Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the art 700-seat auditorium located on the west end of the Knoxville High School.  With high quality acoustics and access to great lighting and sound equipment, it is a dream performance space without a bad seat in the house.  The elegant lobby offers a spacious area for receptions and for performers to meet and greet their audiences.  Behind the scenes, there are dressing rooms and a green room equipped with comfortable seating and a kichenette.

Centrally located within easy reach of Des Moines, Knoxville is a vibrant and diverse community that welcomes you to join us in enjoying all the amenities our Performing Arts Center offers.

The Bravo! Concert Series

With a diverse lineup of nationally and internationally recognized performers, this series strives to bring top-quality entertainment to the communities of south central Iowa.  From classical music to jazz, from dance to comedy, we offer something for everyone.

Performers often take time to conduct workshops with students in our local schools, furthering the mission of bringing the Arts to our communities.
